The Bakersfield Spanish Seventh day Adventist Church is part of the sisterhood of churches that make up the Central California Conference of Seventh day Adventists.  It has been organized to minister to people independently of their origin, background, ethnicity, or culture, but is focusing on the spanish speaking population of Bakersfield and its vicinities.

About Our Local Church
The Bakersfield Spanish Seventh-day Adventist Church was organized in 1956.  On February of 2006 we celebrated fifty years of ministry in the Bakersfield Area.

The current location was dedicated to the Lord on Saturday, November 4, 2006.   The new church seats about 350 persons. The service was attended by about 300 members and visitors and was conducted by leaders from the Central California Conference  (Elder Jerry Page, president; Elder Ramiro Cano, secretary; Nelson Tabingo, treasurer, and Elder Daniel Escamilla, Hispanic Coordinator) and leaders of the church (Pastor Marco A. Valenca, pastor of the district of Bakersfield Spanish and Arvin Bilingual; Mario Estrada, Bible Worker  and elders ot the church). 

**Nuestra Iglesia Local**
**La Iglesia Adventista del Séptimo día Hispana de Bakersfield fue organizada en 1956.  En el mes de Febrero de 2006 celebramos 50 años de ministerio en el área de Bakersfield.

La presente localización fue dedicada al Señor en el Sábado, 4 de Noviembre de 2006.  La nueva iglesia tiene capacidad para 350 personas.  Asistieron al servicio cerca de 300 miembros y visitas.  El servicio fue dirigido por lideres de la Asociación Central de California - Pastor Jerry Page, presidente; Pastor Ramiro Cano, secretario; Nelson Tabingo, tesorero; Pastor Daniel Escamilla, Coordinador de la obra hispana.  Tambien estuvieron presentes líderes de la iglesia local: Pastor Marco A. Valença, pastor del districto de las Iglesias de Bakersfield y Arvin; Mario Estrada, Instructor Bíblico; y ancianos de la iglesia**
